A group of doctors from Barcelona’s Hospital Clínic is working on an uncommon type of research in Manhiça, Mozambique. They’re seeking cures for diseases that affect mostly the poor: malaria, AIDS, tuberculosis, pneumonias, etc. 90% of all health research is devoted to illnesses suffered by only 7% of the people in the world, those in developed countries.
