Literatura kobiet w średniowieczu

Umiejętność czytania i pisania kobiet w średniowieczu była zaskakująco wysoka. Zakonnice były pisarzami i skrybami. Wiele innych kobiet zachęcało do czytania i uczenia się, zwłaszcza szlachetne kobiety. Jednym z przykładów była Christine de Pizan, poetka na dworze króla Francji Karola VI.
