Svab Germans and grape culture in Hungary

The film presents the centuries old grape and wine culture of Hungary’s German descendants. German settlers were first invited to the Transdanubian region in the 13th century, with the aim of introducing viniculture. This was followed by a second wave of German wine producers in the 1600s.
