- Bought at an auction at Sotheby's (London) in 1985.
- This ms. is called the "book of hours of Katharina van Wassenaer", who has been identified as the daughter of Jan van Wassenaer and wife of Joost van Cruyningen. There is a coat of arms of Katharina and her husband on f. 73r and a note of ownership on the flyleaf in the backside: "Dyet boweck heeft towe behort vrow ketelyne van wassenar vrow van cruyeningen". It is often thought that the ms. was made for Katharina's marriage in 1514, but many leaves contain the initials J and I, tied together with a love-knot. These initials correspond with those of Katharina's parents Jan van Wassenaar and Iohanna van Haluin who married in 1482. This date also fits better with the style of the decorations made by the so-called "masters of the dark eyes". – In the 19th century part of the Arenberg collection in Brussels (nr. 26). By then probably already mutilated.
