La alfabetización femenina en la Ed

La alfabetización femenina durante la Edad Media fue sorprendentemente alta. Las monjas eran escritoras y escribanas. Muchas otras mujeres fomentaron la lectura y el aprendizaje, especialmente las mujeres nobles. Un ejemplo fue Christine de Pizan, poeta en la corte del rey Carlos VI de Francia.
