Fotografija Okrnjena armilarna sfera v starem pekinškem observatoriju
Črno-bela fotografija prikazuje okrnjeno armilarno sfero (jianyi 簡儀) iz brona, razstavljeno na dvorišču pekinškega observatorija Beijing Gu Guanxiangtai 北京古觀像台. Za razliko od ostalih instrumentov v observatoriju je ta sfera starejša od zadnje prenove observatorija v 17. stoletju. Prav tako je niso izdelali jezuiti, ampak jo je v 13. stoletju zasnoval in izdelal Guo Shoujing 郭守敬 (1231–1316), snoval…
