Basket, shopping
Basket, picnic
This shopping basket was made for the Museum by Emily Mullins, a Reading basketmaker, and was therefore never used. This type of basket would also have been used for picnicking. It is a tall, narrow, rectangular basket made of buff willow and cane, and has two lapped drop handles.
