Plane, moulding
One of twelve moulding planes, used for creating profiles in wood, from the workshop of Froude [?] in Checkendon, Oxfordshire. It has a beech stock and is marked 'J. Buck // 124 Newgate St. // London' (the name of the manufacturer) and 'W. Taylor' (possibly the name of a previous owner of the plane - seven of the twelve planes are marked with this name).
