Delftware drainer, with painted decoration of flowers and an oriental pavilion, London (possibly Lambeth), ca. 1780-1790.
Flowers, a tree and an oriental pavilion in blue.
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Greyish white, pooling on the underside. One peg-mark apparent on rim of underside.
Shape: Concave on underside. One larger circular hole, thirty six medium sized holes and forty four small ones arranged in four groups of nine and two of four. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware
