Launching trailing suction dredger for Peru
Weeknummer 73-27
At the IHC Smit shipyard in Kinderdijk, the wife of the Peruvian ambassador christens the trailing suction dredger Marinero Rivas, which was built for Peru as development aid, after which the ship is launched. With further images of the shipyard, where the various parts of the ships are assembled in a covered shed. Most machines are controlled by computers.
