How a teuscher monsier in dresses should hold up
Caricature
Eight figures, arranged in pairs, perform common fashions on a narrow stage. Although the handwritten inscription suggests a date around 1629, it cannot be ruled out that the sheet was created at a later date. Some of the comparatively carefully executed figures seem to presuppose knowledge of French models (e.g. Abraham Bosse).
