Postcard of the thermal- and beach baths of Berekfürdő. Originally, the aim was to explore hydrocarbon fields. Research in the area was carried out by geologist Dr. Ferenc Pávai Vajna, who drilled two wells in 1928-30, but instead of oil, they found medicinal water.
