Roman inscription from York
The drawing shows an inscription to Serapis, found in York in 1770. The foundations of a semicircular wall were also found. The inscription reads: DEO SANCTO SERAPI TEMPLUM ASO LO FECIT CL HIERONY MIANVS LEG LEG VI VICT.
