The Seal Matrix of Sir John Campbell
The seal of Sir John Campbell of Cawdor, dating from the bitter feud between the Campbells and MacDonalds, was found buried below mounds of rubble from a collapsed defensive wall at Dunyvaig Castle during an archaeological excavation in 2018.
