Lustre Maiolica Tazza (plate)
A maiolica tazza (plate or dish) with a highly polished glaze. It has a ribbed stem and circular foot. It is decorated internally in the centre with a scene of a woman in profile (Bella Donna) smelling a flower. A sunburst or dog-tooth motif surrounds this scene with stylized sunflowers.
