Navicula or incense boat
An incense boat in gilt bronze, it has an oval body with a flat top. It has a six-sided stem and foot. There are two lids hinged in centre. The lid is decorated with a floral motif and two serpents curving up from the lid. Probably German.
Material: Bronze (gilded). Accession no: HCM 130. Current Location: The Hunt Museum, Limerick.
