Ivory Head of the Virgin Mary
A head of the Virgin Mary. She is veiled and wearing a crown; part of the neck of her gown is also visible. This head fits CG 016 (headless Madonna and Child), as does MG 016 (head of young Christ). If these are all part of the same piece it may indicate that the piece dates from the 14th century.
