The sailors of France: 1914-1917
The French Marines
The French merchant fleet: port traffic in Le Havre and Rouen, sending off a cargo ship and a submarine in Cherbourg, and the artillery equipment of commercial ships. Defense of the Adriatic coastline: scenes of shooting with a mix of outdoor and indoor views of arming and adjusting cannons; interior views of a submarine (arming a torpedo, the maneuvering room, and the engine compartment).
