Bridal earrings (khoras kbash - ram's head, or khoras amara - complex decoration)
The name of these earrings indicates their resemblance to rams' heads. A Spanish influence is evident, and they are considered the height of the Jewish jewelry craft in Morocco. The hooks at the top attach the earrings to the bridal diadem (sfifa), from which they hang on either side of the face. Material and technique: Gold, hammered, engraved, and pierced; baroque pearls, emeralds, and rubies.
