Inverness in the Scottish Highlands

With its nearly 60,000 inhabitants, Inverness is the administrative center of the Scottish Highlands and is considered its capital. It is also one of the northernmost cities in Great Britain. Although the history of the city dates back to the 5th century, Inverness is now an architecturally rather modern city.
