The EU in crisis - how many weak candidate countries can the EU tolerate?
With Croatia, the EU is bringing the next problem child to the Union Already there are more countries that draw funds from the European Structural Fund than countries that deposit. Like many weak member states, the EU tolerates that we talk about it with Tanja Börzel, the managing director of the Otto-Suhr Institute and head of the European Integration Labour Office.
