Marie Therese d'Autriche. Reine de France & de Navarre: Portrait of Maria Theresa of Austria
Maria Theresa (1638 - 1683) was the youngest daughter of King Philip IV of Spain from his first marriage to Isabella of France. She married King Louis XIV of France in 1660, sealing the peace between France and Habsburg Spain.\nThe engraving was made from a lost portrait painting by Antoine Dieu and shows the queen in informal dress seated on a terrace.\nText: A.
