The great battle of Yamazaki
linker Teil des Triptychon (vgl. BI 11564-49 + BI 11564-50) Yoshitoraga 芳虎画 Das “Taiheiki 太平記” wurde in der 2. Hälfte des 14. Jahrhunderts verfasst und schildert die kriegerischen Ereignisse zwischen der südlichen und nördlichen Dynastie von 1318-1367. Yamazaki ist aber eher dafür berühmt, dass Toyotomi Hideyoshi 豐臣秀吉 hier 1582 den Mord an Oda Nobunaga 織田信長 gerächt hat.
