Gilgamesh, legend and king
Historians generally agree that Gilgamesh was a king of the Sumerian city state of Uruk. Tales of his legendary exploits were captured in five surviving Sumerian poems, which later became part of an epic narrative. A gallery for Tech4Heritage.
