The main ingredients of Hungarian gingerbread are flour, powdered sugar, honey, and eggs. After mixing the ingredients and kneading the dough, shaping can be done in several ways: by hand, with a cookie cutter, or with a gingerbread mold. The gingerbread mold is a wooden template into which the negative of the pattern is carved, and the dough is smoothed into it.
